FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON LAKE MICHIGAN.

WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...LOW PRESSURE AT 30.0 INCHES OVER CENTRAL ILLINOIS WILL
MOVE TO THE MID APPALACHIAN MOUNTAINS BY DAYBREAK THURSDAY ALLOWING
A COLD FRONT TO SURGE SOUTH ACROSS LAKE MICHIGAN OVERNIGHT.
OCCASIONAL GALE FORCE WIND GUSTS WILL DEVELOP FOR A BRIEF PERIOD
BEHIND THIS FRONT ACROSS THE LAKE THURSDAY. WINDS WILL DIMINISH
THURSDAY EVENING AS HIGH PRESSURE AT 30.5 INCHES MOVES ACROSS THE
LAKE OVERNIGHT. SOUTH WINDS WILL INTENSIFY QUICKLY ON THE BACK SIDE
OF THIS HIGH PRESSURE AREA FRIDAY. LOW PRESSURE OF 29.5 INCHES OVER
THE NORTHERN PLAINS EARLY SATURDAY WILL MOVE TO THE U.P. OF MICHIGAN
BY DAYBREAK SUNDAY. THIS LOW WILL DRIVE ANOTHER COLD FRONT SOUTH
ACROSS THE LAKE SUNDAY. HIGH PRESSURE AT 30.7 INCHES WILL APPROACH
THE AREA MONDAY.
