FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...An elongated trough averaging 29.6 inches stretches
from the Central Plains across Lake Superior to Quebec. The
trough will sag south bisecting Lake Michigan this evening and
will finally clear the south end of Lake Michigan late Tuesday
evening. High pressure of 30.8 inches will build into the Northern
Plains Tuesday evening and will spread across the Great Lakes on
Thursday.

afternoon. Patchy fog this afternoon. Waves 5 to 8 ft occasionally
to 10 ft subsiding to 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.
.TONIGHT...Northeast winds to 30 kt diminishing to 15 to 25 kt.
Patchy fog. Rain showers with a chance of freezing rain. Waves 4
to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.
.TUESDAY...East winds 10 to 20 kt becoming west. Patchy fog. Rain
showers with light freezing rain likely in the morning...then
rain showers in the afternoon. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8
ft.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 20 kt increasing to 15 to
25 kt. Chance of rain, light sleet and light freezing rain in the
evening. Waves 3 to 5 ft building to 4 to 7 ft occasionally to
9 ft.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 25 kt diminishing to 10 to
20 kt. Waves 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft subsiding to 4 to
6 ft occasionally to 8 ft.
