...GALE WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH
TUESDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, southeast winds to 30 kt
  with occasional gales to 35 kt and significant waves to 8 ft
  occasionally to 10 ft. For the Gale Watch, south gales to 35 kt
  and significant waves to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft possible.

* WHERE...Illinois and Indiana nearshore from Winthrop Harbor IL
  to Michigan City IN.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 3 AM CDT Tuesday.
  For the Gale Watch, from late Monday night through Tuesday
  evening.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions.  Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter
course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and waves.
