...High Risk of Rip Currents Atlantic Beaches...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Heavy Rain: Additional heavy rain is possible through early this
afternoon, which may lead to additional flooding concerns for urban
and poor drainage locations.

Thunderstorms: Scattered thunderstorms are possible through early
this afternoon. A few storms may be strong to severe and contain
locally damaging winds. An isolated tornado can`t be ruled out.

Marine: Hazardous marine conditions in the form of high winds and
seas are expected in both the Gulf and Atlantic waters.

Wind: Gusty south winds become westerly later today. Wind gusts up
to 40 mph are possible across the east coast metro.

Rip Currents: There is a high risk of rip currents for all Atlantic
beaches today, and an elevated risk for the Gulf coast beaches.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

An elevated risk of rip currents will remain in place for all South
Florida beaches this weekend and will linger into next week for the
Atlantic beaches.

Dangerous surf conditions are possible along the Palm beaches
beginning on Monday and lasting through at least mid week.

Hazardous marine conditions in the form of high winds and seas will
remain for the Gulf waters through early Sunday morning, while
conditions in the Atlantic will remain hazardous into early next
week.

Weather spotters are encouraged to report high wind, hail, and
flooding to the National Weather Service forecast office in Miami.
