...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 11 AM
PDT SATURDAY ABOVE 4000 FEET...

* WHAT...Wet snow expected above 4000 feet. Total snow
  accumulations of 2 to 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40
  mph.

* WHERE...Mostly for the higher elevations of western Siskiyou
  County. This includes portions of Sawyers Bar Road near Mt.
  Etna.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 11 AM PDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A quick change from rain to snow will
  occur during the heaviest precipitation, and there is a 70%
  chance for snowfall rates to reach an inch per hour through 5
  AM Saturday.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 11 PM
PDT SATURDAY ABOVE 4000 FEET...

* WHAT...Snow expected above 4000 feet. Total snow accumulations
  of 3 to 7 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...The southern Oregon Cascades from Highway 140
  northward. This includes Lake of the Woods, Highway 62 and 138
  at Crater Lake and Diamond Lake, and portions of highway 58
  near Crescent Lake and Willamette Pass.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 11 PM PDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels will drop quickly overnight
  today and rain will change over to snow during the heaviest
  precipitation. There is a 70 percent chance for 1 inch an hour
  snowfall rates for a couple of hours between 4AM and 8AM
  Saturday. Snowfall rates will lighten after that. Temperatures
  will be very cold Saturday night, and any wet roads in the
  Cascades could refreeze.
