.DISCUSSION...

Generally overcast, cooler, and gusty today, with some breaks in
cloud cover this afternoon in southwestern and central Wisconsin
allowing for temperatures to recover into the mid to upper 60s and
allow for mixing heights to rise to near 3000 ft. Elsewhere,
expect temperatures in the mid 50s and mixing heights below 1000
ft. Northeasterly winds will gust between 20 and 25 mph throughout
the day, diminishing this evening. A few showers are expected
across far southern Wisconsin, especially during the morning hours.

Clear and dry conditions are expected Wednesday, with light
northeasterly to easterly winds expected. This will keep
temperatures near Lake Michigan cooler than the remainder of
southern Wisconsin. Expect mixing heights inland near 3500 ft,
with minimum RH values in the Wisconsin River Valley nearing 35
percent.

A cold front brings showers and thunderstorms throughout the day
on Thursday, keeping RH values high and mixing heights low.
