FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
508 AM EDT Mon Jun 26 2017

...Rain diminishing through the afternoon...

.DISCUSSION: Rain showers will diminish from north to south
through the afternoon hours today. Then we will see a brief break
in the active weather with dry weather expected across much of
Upper Michigan on Tuesday. With ample insolation expected through
the day Tuesday, lake breezes are expected to develop. A few
isolated showers and perhaps a thunderstorm or two will be
possible across the eastern portions of Upper Michigan where
localized convergence is likely along the Lake Superior and Lake
Michigan breezes. Any ongoing convection across the east will
dissipate through the late evening hours on Tuesday. Wednesday
into Thursday chances increase for moderate to heavy rainfall
across much of Upper Michigan.
