FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
524 AM EDT Tue Aug 22 2017

...PRECIPITATION COMING TO AN END THIS MORNING...

.DISCUSSION: As low pressure continues to lift northeast out of
Upper Michigan, lingering showers and a few isolated thunderstorms
along the cold front will gradually vacate the east this morning.
Behind the front, a cooler more stable air mass will work its way
into the region today and tomorrow. As the cooler air works south
across the area, gusty north-northwest winds are expected both
today and tomorrow. Temperatures will run about 10 to 15 degrees
below normal through the middle of the work week, before gradually
modifying back to near normal by the beginning of the weekend. As
high pressure anchors over the Upper Great Lakes region later
this week into the weekend, expect the a dry forecast to prevail.
