FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MARQUETTE MI
512 AM EDT SUN AUG 17 2014

...CLEARING SKIES TODAY THEN INCREASED RAIN CHANCES TONIGHT INTO MID
WEEK...

.DISCUSSION...SKIES WILL GRADUALLY CLEAR TODAY UNDER THE INCREASING
INFLUENCE OF DRY HIGH PRESSURE. AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE
THROUGH THE REGION MONDAY INTO WEDNESDAY...WHICH WILL LEAD TO
INCREASED CHANCES FOR PRECIPITATION. THE BEST CHANCE FOR RAIN THIS
WEEK LOOKS TO BE MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY AS THE DISTURBANCE PASSES
OVERHEAD. FOR THE LAST HALF OF THE WORK WEEK...PRECIPITATION CHANCES
WILL REMAIN BUT TEMPERATURES WILL TREND WARMER AS A RIDGE OF HIGH
PRESSURE BUILDS INTO THE AREA.
