FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MARQUETTE MI
518 AM EDT THU MAY 21 2015

...LOOK FOR DRY CONDITIONS TO PERSIST INTO THE WEEKEND WITH THE
NEXT BEST CHANCE FOR RAIN SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY...

.DISCUSSION...A WEAK COLD FRONT MOVING ACROSS UPPER MICHIGAN TODAY
COULD PRODUCE AN ISOLATED SHOWER OVER SOUTHERN MENOMINEE COUNTY
THIS AFTERNOON. OTHERWISE HIGH PRESSURE WILL ONCE AGAIN BUILD
ACROSS THE UPPER GREAT LAKES TONIGHT AND PERSIST INTO THE WEEKEND
MAINTAINING DRY CONDITIONS ACROSS THE AREA. DAYTIME MINIMUM RELATIVE
HUMIDITY OVER INLAND AREAS WILL DIP TO 25 TO 30 PERCENT TODAY AND
20 TO 25 PERCENT ON FRIDAY. THE NEXT CHANCE OF WETTING RAIN LOOKS
TO BE SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES IN
FROM THE PLAINS. UNSETTLED WEATHER WILL CONTINUE INTO THE MIDDLE OF
NEXT WEEK AS A SERIES OF UPPER DISTURBANCES CROSS THE AREA.
