.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Intense low pressure over the
gulf of Saint Lawrence will track NE away from the area while a
trough moves SE across the waters early today. High pressure
will build E into the waters this afternoon into early tonight,
then pass E of the area later tonight. A cold front will
approach the coast Sat, then pass E across the waters Sat night
into Sun as low pressure forms and tracks quickly NE along the
front. A broad, strengthening low will develop along the front S
of area Sun, and remain S and SE of the area through Mon night
as a strong high pressure ridge builds to the N of the region.
The high pressure ridge will extend S and slide E over the inner
portion of the waters Tue before weakening as another low
pressure system and associated cold front approaches from the W
Tue night.
