...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM CDT
FOR NORTHERN JEFFERSON...COTTON...SOUTHERN STEPHENS...NORTHWESTERN
CLAY AND NORTHEASTERN WICHITA COUNTIES...
At 1148 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Loco to 3 miles northwest of Randlett, moving
east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Duncan, Burkburnett, Walters, Waurika, Comanche, Ringling, Temple,
Velma, Byers, Randlett, Devol, Hastings, Loco, Addington, Sugden,
Cookietown, Waurika Lake, Corum, Empire City, and Cornish.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
