...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT GILA AND MARICOPA COUNTIES
THROUGH 400 PM MST...

At 306 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorms
north and northwest of Sunflower, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Round Valley, Ballantine Trailhead, Sycamore Creek, Sunflower, Punkin
Center, Tonto Basin, Camp Creek, Rio Verde, Horseshoe Reservoir, and
Seven Springs.

This includes the following highways...
AZ Route 87 between mile markers 208 and 229.
AZ Route 188 between mile markers 257 and 266.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
