...FLOOD WATCH IS CANCELLED...

The Flood Watch is cancelled for portions of Arkansas, including the
following areas, Columbia, Hempstead, Howard, Lafayette, Little
River, Miller, Nevada, Sevier and Union, northwest Louisiana,
including the following parishes, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne and
Webster, southeast Oklahoma, including the following area,
McCurtain, and northeast Texas, including the following areas,
Bowie, Camp, Cass, Cherokee, Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Marion,
Morris, Panola, Red River, Rusk, Smith, Titus, Upshur and Wood.

Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to
heed remaining road closures.

...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CDT TODAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Louisiana, including the following parishes,
  Bienville, Caldwell, De Soto, Grant, Jackson, La Salle, Lincoln,
  Natchitoches, Ouachita, Red River, Sabine, Union and Winn and east
  Texas, including the following counties, Angelina, Nacogdoches,
  Sabine, San Augustine and Shelby.

* WHEN...Until noon CDT today.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Periods of showers and thunderstorms, some of which may
    contain locally heavy rainfall, will continue this morning
    across portions of Deep East Texas and much of North
    Louisiana. Widespread rainfall amounts of two to four inches
    have fallen since Sunday evening across much of the Watch
    area, with additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches
    possible through 12 PM today. Since grounds are already
    saturated, this additional rainfall will run off and may
    cause flash flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
