.YESTERDAY...

GUSTY NORTH WINDS BROUGHT COLD TEMPERATURES AND SCATTERED SNOW
SHOWERS TO MOST OF WISCONSIN ON MONDAY AS A STRONG LOW PRESSURE
SYSTEM GRADUALLY MOVED EAST OF THE GREAT LAKES REGION. HIGH
TEMPERATURES WERE GENERALLY IN THE 30S...EXCEPT FOR FAR NORTHERN
WISCONSIN WHERE HIGHS WERE ONLY IN THE 20S.

.OVERNIGHT...

SNOW SHOWERS GRADUALLY DIMINISHED ACROSS EASTERN WISCONSIN DURING
THE LATE EVENING AS HIGH PRESSURE SETTLED INTO THE REGION. SKIES
EVENTUALLY SCATTERED OUT OVERNIGHT AND ALLOWED FOR A GLIMPSE OF THE
TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE. WITH THE CLEARING SKIES AND LIGHTER
WINDS...TEMPERATURES DROPPED INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS NORTH...TEENS
CENTRAL AND LOWER TO MID 20S SOUTH.

.FORECAST...

WEAK HIGH PRESSURE WILL MOVE ACROSS WISCONSIN TODAY. WINDS WILL BE
LIGHTER OUT OF THE WEST-NORTHWEST. TEMPERATURES WILL ONLY RISE INTO
THE 30S TODAY...THEN FALL INTO THE TEENS NORTH AND 20S ELSEWHERE
TONIGHT.

LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPING OVER THE CENTRAL PLAINS TONIGHT WILL MOVE
INTO THE UPPER GREAT LAKES REGION BY THURSDAY. GUSTY SOUTH WINDS
AHEAD OF THE LOW WILL ALLOW FOR MORE SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES FOR
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING PERIODS OF HEAVY SNOW
TO PORTIONS OF NORTHWEST WISCONSIN FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH
WEDNESDAY EVENING. THERE IS A CHANCE OF RAIN AND SNOW ACROSS CENTRAL
WISCONSIN WEDNESDAY.

A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL STALL ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY AND BRING A CHANCE OF RAIN TO SOUTHERN
WISCONSIN. THE WEATHER FOR SATURDAY LOOKS DRY AND COOL...BUT SUNDAY
LOOKS UNSETTLED.
