Cloud cover was fairly widespread across the Badgerland during the
day. Some showers and thunderstorms nudged into far western
Wisconsin later in the day. Highs were in the mid to upper 30s in
the north with low to mid 40s in the south.
Showers and thunderstorms traversed across Wisconsin during the
evening hours producing some large hail in southern Wisconsin.

A slow moving low pressure system will move across the southern
Plains through today, and then track northeast into the Great Lakes
over the weekend. This system will bring wet weather and a few
thunderstorms to parts of southern Wisconsin later today and this
evening, with more widespread showers across the south half of the
state tonight into Saturday.
Occasional light rain and drizzle will likely persist into Sunday
with a chance for light freezing rain across the north Saturday
night into Sunday morning. More unsettled weather is expected the
first part of next week.
Very warm temperatures in the 60s to near 70 will surge into parts
