ISSUED A COASTAL FLOOD WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM
EST TUESDAY. THE COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* LOCATION...COASTAL LOCATIONS OF SAINT MARYS COUNTY ALONG THE
  POTOMAC RIVER.

* TIDAL DEPARTURE...AROUND 2.5 FEET ABOVE ASTRONOMICAL NORMAL.

* TIMING...ONLY A FEW HOURS BELOW MINOR FLOOD STAGE LATE THIS
  AFTERNOON...FOLLOWED BY MOST OF THE EVENING ABOVE MINOR FLOOD
  STAGE. MODERATE FLOODING WILL OCCUR WITHIN AN HOUR OR TWO OF
  HIGH TIDE.

* IMPACTS...WATER IS EXPECTED TO COVER ROADS ON ST. GEORGES
  ISLAND, BE IN YARDS, AND APPROACH STRUCTURES. TO THE EAST,
  INUNDATION IS EXPECTED AT MULTIPLE MARINAS OFF ST. MARY`S RIVER,
  SMITH CREEK, AND JUTLAND CREEK. SHORELINE INUNDATION IS POSSIBLE
  ELSEWHERE.

  4:54 PM AT WASHINGTON CHANNEL AND 5:12 PM AT ALEXANDRIA.

* IMPACTS...SHORELINE INUNDATION IS EXPECTED ALONG PORTIONS OF
  THE SEAWALL ADJACENT TO OHIO DRIVE AND THE HAINS POINT LOOP
  ROAD. WATER IS EXPECTED TO APPROACH THE CURB NEAR THE
  INTERSECTION OF KING STREET AND STRAND STREET IN ALEXANDRIA.
  MINOR SHORELINE INUNDATION IS POSSIBLE ELSEWHERE.
