THE COLD WEATHER THAT HAD LASTED MUCH OF NOVEMBER BEGAN TO EASE UP

BEHIND THIS STORM. THE TEMPERATURE DID NOT RISE ABOVE FREEZING FOR
THE REST OF THE MONTH, WITH THE LAST 4 DAYS OF THE MONTH NOT RISING
ABOVE 10 DEGREES WHILE LOWS FELL BELOW ZERO. THE LOW TEMPERATURE OF
15 BELOW ZERO ON THE 29TH TIED AS THE COLDEST TEMPERATURE EVER
RECORDED IN THE MONTH OF DECEMBER.

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR THE MONTH WAS 20.8 DEGREES WHICH WAS 5.3
DEGREES BELOW NORMAL AND THE 8TH COLDEST DECEMBER ON RECORD. THE
