.APRIL 2017 WAS WARMER THAN NORMAL WITH ABOVE NORMAL PRECIPITATION
AT DULUTH MN...

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR APRIL WAS 42.2 DEGREES WHICH WAS 2.6
DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 39.6 DEGREES MAKING THIS THE 16TH
WARMEST APRIL IN STATION HISTORY. THE HIGHEST TEMPERATURE FOR THE
MONTH WAS 70 DEGREES ON THE 15TH. THE LOWEST TEMPERATURE WAS 23
DEGREES ON THE 27TH. ONE DAILY TEMPERATURE RECORD WAS BROKEN FOR THE
MONTH. THE RECORD COLDEST HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 30 DEGREES WAS
RECORDED ON THE 27TH. THIS BREAKS THE PREVIOUS RECORD OF 32 DEGREES
SET IN 1950. ELEVEN DAYS HAD AVERAGE TEMPERATURES BELOW NORMAL.
