...MARCH WARMER AND SLIGHTLY MORE PRECIPITATION THAN NORMAL...

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 28.5 DEGREES WAS 3.4 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. THERE WAS
TWO TEMPERATURE RECORDS BROKE IN THE MONTH OF MARCH. THE FIRST ONE WAS THE RECORD
HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURE ON THE 1ST OF THE MONTH BREAKING THE OLD RECORD OF 35
DEGREES SET BACK IN 1996 WITH A NEW RECORD OF 36 DEGREES. THE SECOND RECORD BROKE
THIS MONTH WAS A RECORD MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE ON THE 2ND OF 41 DEGREES. THIS RECORD
BROKE THE OLD RECORD SET ONE YEAR AGO IN 2015 OF 40 DEGREES.

THE TOTAL PRECIPITATION FOR THE MONTH WAS 1.11 INCHES...JUST 0.04 INCHES GREATER
THAN NORMAL. SNOWFALL FOR THE MONTH WAS 10.7 INCHES...2.8 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL. A
DAILY SNOWFALL RECORD WAS BROKEN ON THE 6TH OF MARCH...WITH 3.8 INCHES OF SNOW
FALLING. THIS BROKE THE OLD RECORD OF 2.4 INCHES SET BACK IN 1990.
