south of Dry Tortugas...and the extreme southeastern Gulf of
Mexico...including The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary

Synopsis for Keys coastal waters from Ocean Reef to Dry Tortugas

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will build southeastward from the Great
Plains Wednesday, reaching North Florida by Friday. Fresh to
strong breezes will subside Friday and Friday night. High pressure
will intensify across the western North Atlantic Saturday and
Saturday night, resulting in freshening easterly breezes.

The Approximate Shoreward Edge of the Gulf Stream as of
January 15, 2018...

45 NM South of Dry Tortugas Light, on Loggerhead Key.
35 NM South of Cosgrove Shoal Light, off the Marquesas Keys.
30 NM South of Sand Key Light, off Key West.
28 NM South of Looe Key, off Big Pine Key.
35 NM South of Sombrero Key Light, off Marathon.
21 NM Southeast of Alligator Reef Light, off Islamorada.
17 NM Southeast of Molasses Reef Light, off Key Largo.
14 NM East of Carysfort Reef Light, off Ocean Reef.
