...POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY RAINFALL LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO
TONIGHT...

AN UNSEASONABLY WARM AND MOIST AIRMASS WILL COMBINE WITH AN
APPROACHING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TO RESULT IN PERIODS OF SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. THESE THUNDERSTORMS
WILL BE LIKELY TO PRODUCE TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS AND THE POTENTIAL
FOR 1 TO 3 INCHES OF RAINFALL IN SOME AREAS. THESE STORMS HAVING
A HISTORY OF PRODUCING NEAR 1 INCH OF RAINFALL IN ONE HALF HOUR
IN WATESKA EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON. IF THIS HEAVY RAINFALL OCCURS
OVER THE URBAN AREAS OF THE CHICAGO METRO AREA...THIS COULD RESULT
IN SOME FLOODING CONCERNS...INCLUDED LOCALIZED STREET FLOODING.
EXPECT AFTER SOME HEAVY RAINFALL THAT PERIODS OF MODERATE RAINFALL
WILL CONTINUE INTO THE EARLY MORNING HOURS.
