...AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE
THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE...

UP TO 1 INCH OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE SO
FAR THIS WEEK. ALTHOUGH A BREAK IN RAINFALL IS EXPECTED ACROSS
MIDDLE TENNESSEE TONIGHT...AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAINFALL
IS POSSIBLE FROM THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY. THIS WILL RESULT IN
TOTAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK RANGING FROM 2 TO 3
INCHES. THIS ADDITIONAL RAINFALL FALLING ON ALREADY SATURATED
SOILS MAY CAUSE FLOODING IN LOW LYING AREAS...LOW WATER
CROSSINGS...AND OTHER TYPICALLY FLOOD PRONE LOCATIONS...ALONG
WITH PROBABLY RISES ON AREA LAKES...RIVERS AND CREEKS. PONDING OF
WATER ON AREA ROADWAYS MAY ALSO BE OF CONCERN.
