THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS EXPANDED THE

* FLASH FLOOD WATCH TO INCLUDE A PORTION OF NORTH AND CENTRAL NEW
  MEXICO...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...CURRY COUNTY...DE BACA
  COUNTY AND ROOSEVELT COUNTY.

* THROUGH LATE TONIGHT

* REMNANT MOISTURE FROM FORMER HURRICANE ODILE IS LIKELY TO
  PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN AS IT STREAMS OVER THE EAST CENTRAL AND
  SOUTHEAST PLAINS TODAY THROUGH TONIGHT. A FEW LOCATIONS MAY RECEIVE
  OVER 3 INCHES OF RAIN.

* URBAN AREAS AND LOW SPOTS WILL BE ESPECIALLY SUSCEPTIBLE TO
  FLASH FLOODING. KEEP A WATCHFUL EYE ON SMALL STREAMS...ARROYOS...
  WASHES AND DITCHES...AND STAY OUT OF FLOODED LOW WATER
  CROSSINGS.

  SOUTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS AND SOUTHWEST CHAVES COUNTY.

* THROUGH LATE TONIGHT

* REMNANT MOISTURE FROM FORMER HURRICANE ODILE WILL CONTINUE
  STREAMING OVER THE SOUTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS AND ADJACENT PLAINS
  OF CHAVES AND LINCOLN COUNTIES TODAY AND TONIGHT. AN ADDITIONAL
  1 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN IS POSSIBLE WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS.

* LOCATIONS WHERE THE GROUND IS ALREADY SATURATED FROM RECENT
  RAINFALL WILL BE ESPECIALLY SUSCEPTIBLE TO FLASH FLOODING. OTHER
  VULNERABLE LOCATIONS WILL INCLUDE URBAN AREAS...STEEP TERRAIN AND
  BURN SCARS. KEEP A WATCHFUL EYE ON SMALL STREAMS...ARROYOS...

  VALLEY...SOUTH CENTRAL HIGHLANDS...SOUTHWEST MOUNTAINS AND UPPER
  TULAROSA VALLEY.

* THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON

* REMNANT MOISTURE FROM FORMER HURRICANE ODILE WILL CONTINUE
  STREAMING OVER SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST AREAS TODAY BEFORE
  SHIFTING EAST OF THE AREA TONIGHT. LOCATIONS SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 60
  WILL BE FAVORED FOR ADDITIONAL RAIN ACCUMULATION...SOME OF WHICH
  MAY BE HEAVY.

* LOCATIONS WHERE THE GROUND IS ALREADY SATURATED FROM RECENT
