EVENING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SEATTLE HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WATCH FOR A PORTION OF NORTHWEST WASHINGTON...INCLUDING
  THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...CLALLAM...GRAYS HARBOR...JEFFERSON...
  MASON AND WHATCOM.

* FROM TUESDAY EVENING THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING

* HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED ALONG THE SOUTHWEST SLOPES OF THE
  OLYMPICS AND THE CASCADES OF WHATCOM AND SKAGIT COUNTIES. THE
  SKOKOMISH RIVER IS LIKELY TO HIT FLOOD STAGE TUESDAY NIGHT AND
  WEDNESDAY WHILE SOME PORTIONS OF OTHER RIVERS...INCLUDING THE
  NOOKSACK...ELWHA...AND SATSOP RIVERS MAY APPROACH FLOOD STAGE
  TUESDAY NIGHT OR WEDNESDAY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING BASED ON
CURRENT FORECASTS.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE
FLOOD WARNINGS. THOSE LIVING IN AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD BE
PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION SHOULD FLOODING DEVELOP.
