NORTHEASTERN MASON COUNTY...

AT 156 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING
HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. CLOSE TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE
FALLEN. FLASH FLOODING IS LIKELY ONGOING IN EAST CENTRAL MASON
COUNTY AT THIS TIME.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
FREDONIA...
PONTOTOC AND THE INTERSECTION OF US-87 AND RANCH ROAD 783.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...FARMLAND...AND OTHER LOW LYING
SPOTS.

IN HILLY TERRAIN THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF LOW WATER CROSSINGS WHICH ARE
POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS IN HEAVY RAIN. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS FLOODED
ROADS. FIND AN ALTERNATE ROUTE.
