THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  FAYETTE COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS...

* UNTIL 845 PM CDT

* AT 548 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING
  HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. UP TO ONE AND ONE HALF INCHES OF
  RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN. IN ADDITION...MANY LOCATIONS ARE
  SATURATED DUE TO RECENT SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL. FLASH FLOODING IS
  EXPECTED TO BEGIN SHORTLY.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  LA GRANGE...SCHULENBURG...FLATONIA...FAYETTEVILLE...ROUND TOP...
  MULDOON... CISTERN...CARMINE AND WILLOW SPRINGS.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE IN
THE WARNED AREA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...FARMLAND...AND OTHER LOW LYING
SPOTS.
