  NORTHEASTERN CURRY COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL NEW MEXICO...
  SOUTHEASTERN QUAY COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL NEW MEXICO...

* UNTIL 815 PM MDT

* AT 652 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL ASSOCIATED WITH SLOW-MOVING THUNDERSTORMS
  EXTENDING FROM JUST EAST OF LOGAN SOUTH TO THE CAPROCK JUST NORTH
  OF BROADVIEW. THIS INCLUDES THE INTERSTATE 40 CORRIDOR BETWEEN SAN
  JON AND THE TEXAS STATE LINE.  THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL...WITH
  ESTIMATES BETWEEN 2 AND 3 INCHES...HAS ALREADY FALLEN SOUTH AND
  SOUTHEAST OF SAN JON NEAR THE STATE LINE.  POCKETS OF ADDITIONAL
  VERY HEAVY RAINFALL CAN BE EXPECTED WITH RATES UP TO ONE INCH PER
  HOUR.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
  SAN JON...GRADY...BROADVIEW...BELLVIEW...WHEATLAND...BARD AND
  FORREST.

THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 40 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 349 AND 373.
