* ARROYO AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  NORTH CENTRAL SAN JUAN COUNTY IN NORTHWEST NEW MEXICO

* UNTIL 145 AM MDT

* AT 1220 AM MDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  HEAVY RAINFALL ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 64 BETWEEN KIRTLAND...FRUITLAND
  AND WATERFLOW. RAINFALL ESTIMATES IN THIS AREA INDICATED BETWEEN
  ONE HALF INCH AND THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH HAVE FALLEN IN THIS
  AREA. STRONG AND HIGH FLOWS ARE POSSIBLE WITHIN ARROYOS ALONG
  COUNTY ROADS 6800...6480...6100...AS WELL AS RESERVATION ROADS
  6675 AND 3005.

* STRONG FLOWS AND HIGH WATER LEVELS ARE EXPECTED IN ARROYOS...SMALL
  STREAMS AND OVER LOW WATER CROSSINGS. RAPID RUNOFF CAN ALSO BE
  EXPECTED IMMEDIATELY OVER AND DOWNSTREAM FROM WILDFIRE BURN SCARS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO TELL HOW MUCH
WATER IS ON THE ROAD...DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FAST MOVING WATER OF
UNKNOWN DEPTH.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY.
