FLOOD STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DULUTH MN
914 AM CST FRI FEB 24 2017

...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

Mississippi River Near Fort Ripley affecting Crow Wing and Morrison
  Counties

.Snowmelt water and recent rainfall will flow through streams,
rivers, and tributaries through this week and into next week. The
abnormally warm weather has been steadily melting snow over the
past several days. This in combination with recent rainfall will
result in rises on the Mississippi River. An ice jam downstream
has appeared to have broken up with current levels back below
flood stage. However, forecasts still have water levels rising to
minor flood stage Tuesday evening. People with interests near area
streams and rivers are encouraged to monitor the latest
forecast.
