...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...Wisconsin...

  Cottonwood River at New Ulm Ctwd R affecting Brown County
  Chippewa River at Durand affecting Buffalo and Pepin Counties

.Overview...These river forecasts are based on observed precipitation
that fell across southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin forecast
precipition for the next 24 hours.
The National Weather Service will monitor this developing situation
and issue followup statements as conditions or forecasts change.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.  Turn Around...Don`t Drown.

for the latest information concerning this flood event.

...Flood Warning now expected to end late Wednesday...
A Flood Warning continues for The Cottonwood River at New Ulm.
* until late Wednesday.
* At 11:00 AM Tuesday the stage was 11.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast to continue.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 11.5 feet by this
  afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage Wednesday evening.
* Impact...At 11.0 feet...Flood waters begin to impact low lying
  areas...and some roads along the river.

The Flood Warning continues for the Chippewa River at Durand.
* until late Wednesday night.
* At 10:45 AM Tuesday the stage was 14.1 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  Wednesday evening.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet...The basements of businesses along the river
  begin to flood.
* Impact...At 12.5 feet...River Street in downtown Durand begins to
  flood.
