FLOOD STATEMENT

...The flood warning continues for the Ohio River affecting areas
   in Indiana and Kentucky...

   At the Newburgh Dam affecting Spencer...Vanderburgh...
   Warrick...Daviess AND Henderson COUNTIES

.Due to heavy rainfall across the basin over the past couple of days
and expected rainfall through the weekend, minor flood conditions will
continue along the Ohio River at the Newburgh Dam. A crest is
expected on Sunday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SAFETY MESSAGE...

Never drive cars...trucks or sport utility vehicles through flooded
areas. The water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow
children to play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather
Radio or your local media for further statements and possible updated
forecasts.

The Flood Warning continues for the Ohio River at Newburgh Dam.
* From the morning to Wednesday January 25.
* At 8 AM Wednesday the stage was 38.1 feet.
* Flood Stage is 38.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 41.8 feet by
  Sunday morning.
