...THE SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM MST
FOR NORTHEASTERN LA PAZ COUNTY...

AT 747 PM MST...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS THAT HAD
PRODUCED HEAVY RAIN IN THE AREA WERE QUICKLY DIMINISHING.
HOWEVER...THIS IS AFTER ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN IN THE
ADVISED AREA. WASHES ARE LIKELY FLOWING ACROSS CENTRAL AND EASTERN
LA PAZ COUNTY AS WATER CONTINUES TO DRAIN AWAY.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
VICKSBURG...WENDEN...BRENDA...SALOME...VICKSBURG JUNCTION...HARCUVAR
AND KOFA WILDLIFE REFUGE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

IN HILLY TERRAIN THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF LOW WATER CROSSINGS WHICH ARE
POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS IN HEAVY RAIN. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL ACROSS
FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES. IT TAKES ONLY A FEW INCHES OF
SWIFTLY FLOWING WATER TO CARRY VEHICLES AWAY.
