...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 100 AM MDT FOR SOUTHERN
CROWLEY...WESTERN KIOWA AND CENTRAL OTERO COUNTIES...

AT 1102 PM MDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO
THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY AREA.
UP TO ONE INCH OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE MINOR FLOODING INCLUDE...OLNEY
SPRINGS...ROCKY FORD...OPEN COUNTRY 10 SOUTH OF MANZANOLA...SUGAR
CITY...CROWLEY AND TIMPAS.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF UP TO 1 INCH IS EXPECTED TO THE NORTH OF
HIGHWAY 50. THIS ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL MAKE MINOR FLOODING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES.  ADDITIONALLY...
COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS...STREAMS AND
OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
