...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DETROIT/PONTIAC HAS ISSUED A FLOOD
WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING IN SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN...

  Saginaw River

.Periodic showers and thunderstorms through tonight will
result in rainfall amounts between 2 and 3 inches.  This
will lead to rising water levels along the river lasting
through early next week.

The National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac has issued a

* Flood warning for
  the Saginaw River at Saginaw.
* From now until further notice.
* At 10 AM Sunday the stage is 15.9 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast is to rise above flood stage by this evening...
  and crest around 20.2 feet Tuesday evening.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest
  of 19.6 feet on Apr 8 2017.
