...One More Day Of Lower Relative Humidities...

.DISCUSSION...
A relatively dry air mass remains in place over the area today.
This combined with high temperatures 10 to 20 degrees above
normal result in many locations seeing afternoon relative
humidities down in the 30 percent range. Winds will generally be
under 10 mph...but mostly sunny skies will help dry out the fine
fuels that are already on the dry side. Monday will bring about a
change as increased southerly flow allows for deeper moisture to
begin working up into the region. Temperatures will still be above
normal...but afternoon relative humidities will generally be in
the 45 to 55 percent range. The next chance for some precipitation
will come Monday night...but widespread rain is expected Tuesday
into Wednesday with rainfall amounts of at least a half inch to
one inch and over an inch across eastern Vermont.
