Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia...resent to delete extraneous data...
National Weather Service Columbia SC
305 PM EST Sun Feb 18 2018

.DISCUSSION...A stationary frontal boundary extending across
south-central Georgia and offshore this afternoon will return
as a warm front and move north of the forecast area by late
Monday morning. Unseasonably mild and generally dry weather
is expected Monday afternoon through the first half of the
week with high pressure centered off the coast of the Carolinas.

The nighttime inversion will develop around 7 PM this evening,
and persist until around 9 AM. A weak pressure gradient will
promote poor dispersion during that time. With a weak onshore
flow developing this evening, low-level cloudiness and areas
of fog are expected overnight through the early morning hours.

Surface winds Monday will be from the east less than 5 mph
after daybreak, then become southeast around 5 mph by late
morning. Transport winds will become south around 10 mph
by afternoon. Relative humidities will drop into the 50 to
60 percent range.
