FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA
AND EAST CENTRAL GEORGIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
232 PM EDT WED SEP 2 2015

.DISCUSSION...
WEAK HIGH PRESSURE AT THE SURFACE WILL CONTINUE TO PREVAIL
OVER THE REGION WHILE UPPER RIDGING WILL BUILD ALOFT. EXPECT
GENERALLY RAIN FREE CONDITIONS TONIGHT AND THURSDAY THOUGH AN
ISOLATED SHOWER CANNOT BE RULED OUT IN THE CSRA AND SOUTHERN
MIDLANDS AS REMNANTS OF TS ERIKA MOVE OFFSHORE OUT OF SE GEORGIA.

PATCHY FOG IS EACH MORNING DUE TO STRONG RADIATIONAL COOLING
OVERNIGHT. OTHERWISE...FAVORABLE CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED WITH
MIXING HEIGHTS AROUND 5000 TO 6000 FT TRANSPORT WINDS BETWEEN
5-10 MPH GENERALLY FROM THE WEST TO NORTHWEST. MIN RH VALUES
ARE EXPECTED TO FALL BETWEEN 35 AND 45 PERCENT. MOISTURE WILL
INCREASE LATE IN THE WEEK AND BRING INCREASED CHANCES OF RAIN
BEGINNING FRIDAY.
