Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
356 AM CDT Mon Jul 24 2017

.DISCUSSION...

High pressure ridge axis will remained anchored south of the area
through the mid week. This will help maintain a persistent forecast
of weak winds (generally from the w-sw) and afternoon/evening
scattered thunderstorms. By the weekend, a boundary will drop
through the area from the north. Winds will veer more toward the
north helping to filter in some slightly drier air. Through the weekend,
areal average of rainfall is around 1-1.5".

Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy fog possible this morning
for areas outside of shower activity. Any fog development will burn off
after sunrise.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: Red Flag conditions are not expected.
