National Weather Service Missoula MT
232 PM MDT Wed Sep 20 2017

...Cool and moist through Friday...

.DISCUSSION...

Idaho: A cool and moist weather system will remain over the region into
Friday. However, the wetting rains of recent days will switch to
scattered light precipitation Thursday and Friday. A drier northerly
flow will begin to take shape over the weekend with only isolated very
light precipitation possible. High pressure may return next week with
significant warming and drying.

Montana: A cool and moist weather system will remain over the region
into Friday. The wetting rains of recent days will switch to more
scattered light precipitation Thursday and Friday. The exception will be
over southwest Montana where another significant snow event is expected
late Thursday night into Friday. A drier northerly flow will slowly take
shape over the region Saturday and Sunday. High pressure may return
next week with gradual warming.
