Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Washington and North Idaho
National Weather Service Spokane WA
233 PM PDT Tue Jul 25 2017

.DISCUSSION...

A weak disturbance will track through Wednesday night into
Thursday. Initially a swath of mid level clouds will track across
SE Washington into the Idaho Panhandle. There is a small chance of
a dry thunderstorm but low enough that forecast calls for dry
conditions. This potential will continue to be monitored. This
system will also usher in locally breezy winds Thursday afternoon
and evening especially near the Cascades. Otherwise a very dry
air mass will remain over the region through at least early next
week with warm temperatures and low relative humidity during the
day with areas of poor humidity recovery at night especially ridge
tops.

***************************************************************
Forecasts for 20 foot wind speeds (valleys and ridge tops) are
10 minute averages reflecting RAWS wind.
