Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
1123 AM MST Wed Feb 21 2018

.Discussion...

Temperatures across the district will remain below average
again today with more precipitation expected for areas in
and near the mountains later today and tonight as a new
system moves through.

Temperatures will return to near average levels Thursday
through the weekend. There will be additional chances
for snow over the district later Friday into Saturday.

Ventilation rates will be poor on the plains and good or
better in the mountains today. On Thursday, rates will
improve to excellent for most areas. However, the lower
Arkansas River Valley from the Pueblo area out through
the Las Animas area will continue to see poor ventilation.
