.DISCUSSION...

ONE MORE DECENT SHOT AT WETTING RAINS WILL BE OBSERVED TODAY AS UPPER
LEVEL FLOW BEGINS TO SHIFT MORE EASTERLY AND INCREASED MOISTURE FILTERS
INTO THE VALLEY. HIGH PRESSURE WILL BEGIN TO BUILD ALONG THE NORTHERN
GULF COAST TODAY WHICH WILL HELP INCREASE THE PRESSURE GRADIENT THROUGH
THE COPPER RIVER BASIN. THIS WILL LIKELY LEAD TO INCREASING WINDS THROUGH
THE VALLEY WITH SOME GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON. WINDS
SHOULD DIMINISH DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS AS THE LOWEST LEVELS OF THE
ATMOSPHERE STABILIZE BUT A RETURN OF DECENT WINDS WILL BE SEEN AGAIN
ON TUESDAY. THE AFOREMENTIONED HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD ACROSS THE EASTERN
HALF OF THE COPPER RIVER BASIN ON TUESDAY WHICH SHOULD HELP INHIBIT
RAINFALL POTENTIAL HEADING INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK BUT A FEW STRAY
SHOWERS DURING THE AFTERNOON CANNOT BE RULED OUT.
