.DISCUSSION...
COLD HIGH PRESSURE WILL SHIFT OFF TO THE EAST AS THE MORNING
PROGRESSES. THEREFORE THE SURFACE AND TRANSPORT WINDS WILL BEGIN
TO FAVOR A SOUTHERLY DIRECTION TOWARD VERY LATE MORNING...PERHAPS
A BIT SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST BY AFTERNOON. UNTIL LATE MORNING...WIND
SPEEDS WILL BE QUITE LIGHT AND PROBABLY A BIT VARIABLE. AS IS
SO OFTEN THE CASE IN COLD AIR AND OVER SNOW COVER...SMOKE
DISPERSAL WILL PROBABLY NOT BE THE BEST...A HOT SLASH FIRE MAY
ENHANCE THE SMOKE DISPERSION. UNFORTUNATELY LIGHT SNOW IS A
PRETTY GOOD BET THIS AFTERNOON...ESPECIALLY BY ABOUT 1 TO 2 PM.
