.DISCUSSION...HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS OVER THE AREA TODAY...BUT WILL
FLATTEN BY SATURDAY...ALLOWING MOISTURE TO BE DRAWN NORTHWARD OVER
THE FIRE SITE. CONDITIONS WILL REMAIN RELATIVELY HOT AND DRY WITH
GENERALLY LIGHT WINDS TODAY. HOWEVER...BY TOMORROW AFTERNOON SOME
HIGH-BASED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED. THE STORMS WILL
PRODUCE LITTLE IN THE WAY OF RAINFALL...BUT COULD PRODUCE
LIGHTNING AND SOME GUSTY AND ERRATIC OUTFLOW WINDS. LITTLE CHANGE
IN THE PATTERN IS EXPECTED THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK...SO THE THREAT
OF AT LEAST WIDELY SCATTERED AFTERNOON CONVECTION WILL
CONTINUE...THOUGH THE STORMS SHOULD BECOME MORE WET IN NATURE.
