THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF DEEP SOUTH
TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A MODERATE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS IS EXPECTED ON THE AREA BEACHES OF
THE LOWER TEXAS COAST TONIGHT.

HEAT INDEX READINGS BETWEEN 103 TO 107 DEGREES WILL CONTINUE EARLY
THIS EVENING.

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
LATE TONIGHT. SOME ISOLATED STORMS COULD BECOME SEVERE PRODUCING
LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING THUNDERSTORM WINDS MAINLY OVER
ZAPATA...STARR...JIM HOGG AND BROOKS COUNTIES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

AN ELEVATED RISK OF RIP CURRENTS IS POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY THROUGH
MONDAY.

HEAT INDEX READINGS OF 105 TO 109 DEGREES ARE EXPECTED EACH
AFTERNOON WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS...SOME POSSIBLY STRONG TO SEVERE...WILL
CONTINUE INTO THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS
WILL CONTINUE FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY. STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL
PRODUCE GUSTY WINDS...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL...SMALL HAIL...AND
FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING STRIKES. NUISANCE FLOODING CAN BE
EXPECTED WITH HEAVY RAINFALL ESPECIALLY IN POOR DRAINAGE LOCATIONS.

MEXICO AND THE LAGUNA MADRE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
ACROSS THE LOWER TEXAS BAY AND GULF WATERS LATE TONIGHT. SOME STORMS
COULD PRODUCE WIND GUSTS REACHING OR EXCEEDING 35 KNOTS...SMALL HAIL
AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

PERSISTENT SOUTH TO SOUTHEAST WINDS WILL ALLOW LONG PERIOD SWELLS TO
CONTINUE OFFSHORE THE LOWER TEXAS COAST THURSDAY THROUGH MONDAY. IN
ADDITION...THE STRONG SOUTH TO SOUTHEAST WINDS MAY RESULT IN SMALL
CRAFT ADVISORIES ACROSS THE LOWER TEXAS COASTAL WATERS THURSDAY AND
FRIDAY.

THE CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS...SOME POSSIBLY STRONG TO SEVERE...WILL
CONTINUE THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS
WILL CONTINUE FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY. THE STRONGER
THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE GUSTY WINDS...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL
REDUCING VISIBILITIES TO LESS THAN A NAUTICAL MILE...SMALL
HAIL...AND FREQUENT CLOUD TO WATER LIGHTNING STRIKES.
