MISSISSIPPI.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

TROPICAL DEPRESSION 9 IS CURRENTLY JUST NORTH OF CUBA AND IS
EXPECTED TO MOVE NORTHWEST TODAY. THE DEPRESSION IS FORECASTED TO
DEVELOP INTO A TROPICAL STORM BY TUESDAY MORNING AND MOVE WEST
NORTHWESTWARD INTO THE CENTRAL GULF BEFORE TURNING NORTHEASTWARD.
BASED ON THE CURRENT TRACK THE MAIN IMPACTS TO THE AREA WILL BE
INCREASING SWELL MOVING INTO THE AREA BY MID WEEK CREATING A
MODERATE TO HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS ALONG OUR BEACHES. AND
POTENTIALLY BREEZY TO WINDY NORTHEAST TO EASTERLY WINDS OVER COASTAL
COUNTIES WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY. PLEASE CONTINUE TO MONITOR
THE FORECAST FOR UPDATES AS THIS SYSTEM DEVELOPS THROUGH THE WEEK.
