THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

HEAVY BLOWING SNOW WILL FALL OVER THE CENTRAL MOUNTAINS TONIGHT
WITH 8 TO 18 INCHES ABOVE 11000 FEET...4 TO 8 INCHES BETWEEN 9 AND
11 THOUSAND FEET...AND GENERALLY LESS THAN AN INCH BELOW 9000
FEET. TRAVEL WILL BE DIFFICULT TO IMPOSSIBLE DUE TO NEAR ZERO
VISIBILITIES AND ICY OR SNOW COVERED ROADS.

THE SOUTHWEST MOUNTAINS WILL ALSO SEE SOME SNOW TONIGHT BUT
AMOUNTS WILL BE LESS...GENERALLY ONLY 1 TO 4 INCHES.

FOR THE REMAINING MOUNTAIN AREAS...SNOW SHOWERS PRODUCING LOCAL
ACCUMULATIONS LESS THAN AN INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE TONIGHT.

A STRONG JET STREAM WILL BRING HIGH WINDS TO AREAS IN AND NEAR
THE MOUNTAINS TONIGHT. THE STRONGEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED OVER THE
SANGRE DE CRISTO RANGE ABOVE 7500 FEET WHERE WEST WINDS 30 TO 40
GUSTING TO 75 MPH OR MORE ARE EXPECTED. FOR THE REMAINING AREAS
IN AND NEAR THE MOUNTAINS...SPEEDS OF 30 TO 40 GUSTING TO 60 MPH
ARE EXPECTED TONIGHT. HAZARDOUS TRAVEL...POWER OUTAGES...PROPERTY
DAMAGE AND TREE DAMAGE WILL BE POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

A STORM WILL MOVE OVER THE MOUNTAINS TUESDAY THROUGH MIDDAY
WEDNESDAY. THIS STORM MAY BRING SIGNIFICANT SNOW TO THE MOUNTAINS
OF LAKE AND CHAFFEE COUNTIES.

ANOTHER STORM WILL MOVER OVER THE MOUNTAINS MIDDAY THURSDAY INTO
FRIDAY. THIS STORM MAY BRING SIGNIFICANT SNOW TO THE EASTERN SAN
JUAN MOUNTAINS.

LIKELY TONIGHT OVER THE MOUNTAINS.
