CHESAPEAKE BAY BRIDGE TUNNEL-
JAMES RIVER FROM THE JAMES RIVER BRIDGE TO THE HAMPTON ROADS
BRIDGE-TUNNEL-

NORTHEAST WINDS OVER THE LOWER BAY AND ADJACENT MOUTH OF THE JAMES
RIVER HAVE INCREASED TO AROUND 25 TO 28 KNOTS WITH A FEW GUSTS UP
T0 35 KNOTS. WAVES HAVE ALSO BUILT TO AROUND 6 FEET AT FIRST
LANDING. STRONG WINDS WITH GUSTS AROUND 30 KNOTS WILL CONTINUE
THROUGH THE AFTERNOON...BEFORE DIMINISHING TO 20 TO 25 KNOTS THIS
EVENING. A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE
TONIGHT.
