* WINDS...SOUTH GALES 30 TO 40 KNOTS THIS AFTERNOON...INCREASING
  TO STORM FORCE 35 TO 50 KT WITH GUSTS TO 60 KT TONIGHT AND
  CONTINUING INTO WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.

* SEAS...WEST SWELL AND WIND WAVES WILL PRODUCE VERY STEEP
  COMBINED SEAS OF 12 TO 17 FEET THIS AFTERNOON. BECOMING MAINLY
  WIND DRIVEN AND EXTREMELY HIGH AND STEEP AT 20 TO 25 FEET
  TONIGHT AND CONTINUING THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING.

* AREAS AFFECTED AND TIMING...ALL AREAS WILL EXPERIENCE HAZARDOUS
  CONDITIONS THROUGH WEDNESDAY...BUT THE STRONGEST WINDS AND
  STEEPEST SEAS WILL OCCUR AS THE FRONT APPROACHES THE COAST AND A
  COASTAL JET FORMS WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH AFTERNOON. THE AREA
  MOST AFFECTED WILL BE BETWEEN 5 NM AND 40 NM FROM THE COAST...EXCEPT
  RIGHT UP TO THE COAST NEAR CAPE BLANCO.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS ALONG WITH VERY
STEEP AND HAZARDOUS SEAS ARE IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. OPERATING A
VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY
EQUIPPED VESSELS. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT
THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE
CONDITIONS.

A STORM WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 48 TO 63 KNOTS ALONG WITH
EXTREMELY STEEP AND DANGEROUS SEAS ARE IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
RECREATIONAL BOATERS SHOULD REMAIN IN PORT...OR TAKE SHELTER
UNTIL WINDS AND WAVES SUBSIDE. COMMERCIAL VESSELS SHOULD PREPARE
FOR VERY STRONG WINDS AND DANGEROUS SEA CONDITIONS AND CONSIDER
REMAINING IN PORT OR TAKING SHELTER IN PORT UNTIL WINDS AND WAVES
SUBSIDE.

A HAZARDOUS SEAS WARNING MEANS VERY STEEP AND HAZARDOUS SEA
CONDITIONS ARE IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. RECREATIONAL BOATERS SHOULD

  MAINLY WIND DRIVEN AND EXTREMELY HIGH AND STEEP AT 24 TO 28 FEET
  TONIGHT CONTINUING THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING.
