...Strong cold front to sweep into the area overnight bringing
hazardous driving conditions to coastal Willacy and Cameron
Counties...

.Strong northerly winds are expected to develop behind a fast
moving cold front later tonight into Friday. Winds will taper
off during the mid day hours as the pressure gradient relaxes.

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 3 PM CST FRIDAY...

The National Weather Service in Brownsville has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 3 AM to 3 PM CST Friday.

* TIMING...Late tonight into mid day Friday.

* WINDS...25 to 40 mph with higher gusts possible.

* IMPACTS...Drivers of vans...campers...trailers...and other high
  profile vehicles should be alert to the danger of these
  winds...especially when driving along east to west oriented
  roads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 30 to 39 MPH are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially for
high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
