...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 8 PM MST
THURSDAY...

* TIMING...Winds will increase by Noon Thursday, peaking during
  the afternoon and evening.

* WINDS...Southwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts 50 to 60 mph.

* IMPACTS...Winds this strong will make travel difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles. Minor tree and property
  damage could also occur.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring...with sustained wind speeds greater than 40 mph or
gusts greater than 58 mph. Winds this strong can cause property

THURSDAY...

* TIMING...Strong winds developing Thursday afternoon, peaking
  during the late afternoon and early evening.

* WINDS...Southwest 20 to 35 mph with gusts from 40 to 55 mph.

* IMPACTS...Winds this strong can make travel difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles. Blowing dust could also
  reduce visibility over the Little Colorado River valley
  including Interstate 40 from just east of Flagstaff to near
  Holbrook.
