ON THE BIG ISLAND SUMMITS...VERY STRONG WINDS ASSOCIATED WITH A
PASSING MID LEVEL TROUGH WILL CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY MONDAY

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL TO THE SUMMITS WILL BE DANGEROUS...AND DAMAGE
  TO DOORS IS POSSIBLE WHEN OPENING OR CLOSING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A HIGH WIND WARNING FOR THE SUMMITS MEANS THAT WINDS ARE EXPECTED
TO BE GREATER THAN 55 MPH...WITH GUSTS OVER 65 MPH. TRAVEL TO THE

  LEVELS THROUGH EARLY THIS EVENING.

* WINDS...NORTH TO NORTHEAST 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH.
  THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL BE FOUND IN THE SOUTH KOHALA AREA...
  INCLUDING KAWAIHAE...WAIKOLOA AND WAIMEA. ANOTHER AREA OF STRONG
  WINDS WILL OCCUR FROM HILO SOUTHWARD THROUGH THE PUNA DISTRICT.

* IMPACTS...MOTORISTS...ESPECIALLY THOSE IN HIGH PROFILE
  VEHICLES...ARE URGED TO DRIVE WITH EXTREME CAUTION. SOME WEAKER
  TREE SPECIES SUCH AS ALBIZIA MAY SHED BRANCHES...ESPECIALLY IN
  AREAS THAT RARELY SEE STRONG WINDS. LIGHTWEIGHT OUTDOOR OBJECTS
  MAY BE BLOWN AROUND...AND SHOULD BE SECURED BEFORE WINDS
  INCREASE.
